Death

The Death card usually features a skeletal figure, often depicted as a knight or a reaper, sometimes riding a white horse. Symbols like the sun rising in the background, banners, and figures from various walks of life (a king, a child, a maiden, a bishop) can be seen, signifying the universal nature of death.
A common misconception of this card is that it is the bearer of bad news. This is not always the case. More so, this card signifies transformation, change, and the end of a particular phase in life. It suggests that something is coming to an end, making way for new beginnings. While it indicates an ending, it also highlights the cyclical nature of life. It encourages embracing change rather than fearing it.
It often advises to let go of past issues, outdated beliefs, or relationships that no longer serve them, to make room for new opportunities. Just as death is an inevitable part of life, the changes symbolized by the Death card are often unavoidable but necessary for growth. The card is rarely an omen for a physical death.
