Astrology and the Zodiac

Few intellectual traditions have persisted as long, spread as widely, or captivated as many minds as astrology. From the clay tablets of ancient Mesopotamia to the horoscope columns of modern newspapers, the belief that celestial bodies influence human affairs has woven itself into the fabric of civilization across thousands of years. To understand astrology is to trace one of humanity's oldest attempts to impose order on an uncertain world — and to read meaning into the vast, indifferent sky.

I will cover the basics of astrology below, as well as include a separate page with an overview history of the origins of where it comes from and how we have utilized astrology in our present and past history on this earth. My focus will mainly be on how to use astrology in your day-to-day activities, as well as shed some light of the events going on at your time of birth - something that is called a natal birth chart. However, it doesn't stop there: I have spent close to three decades with a close relationship with this practice and intend to share much of this knowledge.
